    Recessed Trolling Pan

Wonder what structural issues would be impacted if I attempted to install an aftermarket recessed trolling motor foot pans on my Triton 176 Mag??? It is a great little boat but the recessed foot pedal would really help keep the old back from aching. Since it is an all aluminum boat, I was thinking that it may not be too hard of a project.

They are strong and when they are installed it replaces the structural streath. Go ahead and install that bad boy

Zactly, the welded aluminum box is twice as strong as the stuff you will remove to install it. any time metal is bent and welded it puts more rigidity into it

Re: Recessed Trolling Pan (Stinkies Daddy)

Thanks for the information guys. I am really looking forward to putting in the recessed pedal holder. I would like to have a larger rig one day, but this will have to do for now.

Mark is the man when it comes to recess trolling motors. I bought one two months ago and it was easy to install and I now wish I would have done it months before. Give him a call.
