Just got done with the polish portion of the restoration. Oh boy - does it look great for a 15 year old boat. Will put the wax on tomorrow. I ordered new decals - the question I have is should I put the decals on now, and wax over the top of them, or wait until after I wax and put them on it. I am thinking I want to put them on now - but thought I should ask.

I would put them on now.Waiting till after waxing may loosen the decals down the road!!
All suface's should be clean and free of wax before installation.I always use a little rubbing alchohol to clean with and then use a mild soapy water to install the decal!Works like a charm and the decals will last longer!

Place on before wax, again clean area with rubbing alcohol, level decal and place.
Once on then do a through wax job.
decals now...wax latter...
