So far this year I have had to have 2 injectors replaced on my '08 150HO, it has 67 hours on it. Yesterday I had it in the water for only the second time since the last injector was replaced. Felt it sputter once while running. After fishing a spot, I cranked up and hit the throttle and got the all too familar bogging down and taking a long time to get on plane.
Hooked up to the laptop this morning and it shows #5 injector with an open circuit.
To say I an frustrated is a huge understatement!!! I just hope I don't one of those "Spend more time on the water" ads today...
They have replaced #2 and 3, the history shows that at some time #1 had an open circuit, but I don't believe that it has been replaced but doesn't show a currect fault. Strange?????
Could there be something in my set-up causing this? I have a BRP fuel/water separator and have changed it 3 times since buying the engine. I run sta-bil ethanol treatment in every tank and buy e10-free gas whenever i can.
