    Will clear Gelcoat yellow?

    I am thinking of redoing my top cap and was thinking of doing it in white with some colored stripes. Then I was going to spray clear gelcoat over all of it to take care of the tape ridges. I just wonder if the clear will yellow?

    White should not have a clear coat. It will yellow and when over white it will show.
