1998 Evinrude intruder 150 losing prime. I can pump up bulb and it runs fine till gas in bulb runs out. Replaced the bulb and same problem. Any ideas???

Just had the same issue. Fuel pump had failed. Diaphram was splitt. I put on a new pump because thats all I could find quickly but the rebuild kit would have repaired the pump.
yeah i got the news from my mechanic. How much was the fuel pump? I will ask about the rebuild kit. Thanks
