do i have a problem

i have a 2006 etec 225 ho, sn#05152701 mod#e 225dhlsdf..while doing my yearly maintance,,changing water pump,,gear case oil...i happened to notice i have a little vertical movement in my prop shaft..how much is to much????? went through my service manual could not find any specifications..this unit has flawless ...any numbers would be appreciated...thank you for your help before..bad sendor on oil pump... <br /><br />

thank you again,, i knew about the end play, i just noticed the the vertical play,,i was worried about the carrier...i am running it very close to the surface....oil look good no fileing,,,once had a big johnson!!!! but i realy love the big blue...thank you and take care...go fish...
