Do you think I should use an 8" buffing pad on a rounded console???? What would be the alternative. It may have to be wet sanded. Is the clear in the inside of the boat as thick as the outside? Mine is quite bad and it is hard to tell..

My first thought would be that an 8" buffer would be to big. Outer edge would be spinning pretty good and I would think you'd burn through pretty easy if you weren't careful. Long as you were easy with it and slowed the thing down a little you'd probably be ok. I'm no expert so I could also be totally wrong as well, but it's your boat! You'll have to decide!
get a right angle mini buffer /grinder be careful they are high speed...
with 4 " pad on it....you will be much happier.....is the dash bolt on dashes or molded in the deck?
