1976 Ranger 185

Hey guys,

First post! I was just given a 1976 Ranger 185 with a 1977 Johnson 115. The motor runs great, and the hull is in good shape, however the inside is a little rough. No carpet, none of the electric is hooked up other than to the bilge and motor, front switch plate for trolling motor is gone. My question is where is the best place to get parts for an old Ranger, if there even is one? Does anyone have one of these boats and can send pics of what the inside should look like? Anyway to find a wiring diagram? How do I bring the flake paint on top back to life? There are spots where it still shines, but most spots are dull and flat, and it seems the finish has flaked off as the shiny parts are raised up where I would guess the clearcoat is still intact.

Thanks for any help you could give me. I was looking to buy a bass boat when this one was given to me for free, so I figured why not. Pretty nice boat for free, just needs alittle work. Thanks.

Ok. I will try and get some up tonight. Does anyone know if there is anyway to get some of the original hardware ie..decals, switch covers, etc.?
