where's everyone fishing ?

Hi Jazz,

Fished Merrymeeting Saturday, lunker was 4.72, I must have caught 20 keepers all good fish, all on my crankbait. I had 4 fish for almost almost 11 lbs. The water was down, about 4 inches below the damn. The place was crystal clear as always, you could see a beer can in 30' of water. I certainly don't know what these fish feed on as I didn't see any bait fish any where, it must be all crawdads. They still haven't done anything with the ramp or parking, but we made out ok. It started out 31 degrees, but finished a beautiful fall day.

We're on to Opeechee Bay in 2 weeks for our last tournament- Bugs does Opeechee still have water and how did you guys do?

31 degrees ! BRRRR.I'll have a hard time getting used to that again ! Believe it or not I never fished Merrymeeting. Opechee I've fished. I remember having luck on the far shoreline across from the ramp and to the right there's a dam or something and a rock pile. Am I correct in that ?Good luck and let us know how ya did.

I am fishing with you on Opechee. (This is Tyson). Last I heard, Opechee was looking good. I have a REALLY good spot on the lake that is easy to overlook for others. It is a small hump on the main lake the comes up fairly shallow. It is a good little area for cranking and worming.

I hope all is well. Next year I will be running my Champ in the club. I can not wait much longer!

Welcome to the BBC Tyson. Opeechee should be good if the weather and water holds. I talked to a guy who just fished it and he gave me a spot he did well on. Between the 2 spots, lets kick butt. Our Allison buddy might not make it and you know what that means, no chili. I'm going up to Champlain tomorrow for the week-end, closing the place up for the (edit) winter.

Bugs how did you do on Opeechee??
