    Walnut Creek 5/14

Water temp is 61-64. ended up with 9. 1 16" and the others between 10-14". Lots of weeds and seem to be getting thicker really quick. Water is pretty clear out front with a slight stain back on the south side

Larry said he was sight fishing Beaver last Friday. I think when I fished last Saturday after the rain/wind they had backed off some. He saw beds everywhere and he saw a few big females. Again today we had a BIG cold front and a cold windy night, so after all the rain/wind the water was too murky for me to sight fish. We had a tourney and 12 boats caught 141 bass (all sizes). Big bass was a 4.14 spawned out female (so it appeared). We did 4 fish limits today so a couple could fish a lone. 1st and 2nd tied with 4 that weighed 11.6, me and Steve were third with 4 that went 10.75.

that dont sound liek a bad day for a post cold front day IMO

Yeah....I caught wispers of same thing.....they were on beds a couple weeks ago but I saw nothign of the such when I was out last weekend at all........I had 2 foot visability so I could see the weeds & where there were small patches where might ahve started but nothing was there.......as long as temps will hold next few days......we should see us on beds pretty hard the next week I would guess......unless there jsut spawned for very very short time a couple weeks ago before 1st cooldown .....I'm jsut waiting for it to break over 65 so I can load em on top waters
