Haven't been to Newton yet. It's a power-plant lake, right?
If so, I'd fish it like it was Coffeen. On top in the morning, then jigs and jerk-baits the rest of the day. They're keying on the points at Coffeen, and some are starting to move shallow.

Yeah, spoons in the shallows are my favorite. That must be your secret to catching big bass last year.
