Only grass I've seen on Norfork and Bull Shoals lakes are in the yards of any nearby homeowners![]()
maybe a little weeds along the shore line from when the lake was over pool level earler this year, but I have never seen any grass that will grow under water on Norfork.

I went saturday looking. I found two locations that had this stuff growing. Broke off easily where lure came in contact with it. Bright green and about twenty foot. Only caught one small l/m in it. Only caught six l/m total all night and only two were keppers. Tough right now I'd say.
so were did you find this grass? I have spent a lot of time on this lake and I have never seen any. abe1![]()
It is more like bottom covering moss without the slim. I know places that are full of it! It dosen't grow very high off the bottom. If you look and through plastic you will find it. One of the most popular night spots has it all over the point![]()
There is a grass that grows up to about 10-12 inches called "skunk grass" or "skunk weed" by the biologists. You will know why it is called skunk when you smell it. It is located in many areas as patches in Lake Norfork.
There are other areas of Spiny Niad in certain other small (very) areas of some arms.

When Forrest Wood was a commisioner, he got the Game and Fish to try an experiment on both lakes to try and establish some grass. I never heard the results. Maybe they were successful:)
