    Mobile Al

Well, I will be leaving Savannah Ga and moving to Mobile, in June. I am getting transferred with the US Coast Guard. Was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to hook up with me when i get down there and show me a good run of the river (tensaw, middle and mobile rivers) your boat or mine, if in your boat i will pay for gas. I am not looking for honey holes just want a good tour of the river and possibly get some fishing in also. I will be fishing the ABA district there on the tensaw once i get settled and also look forward to fishing big creek lake just west of town. I am having a house built in Semmes. I have heard good things about the fishing down there from inshore, to bass, to offshore fishing. I am looking forward to it.

I would like to try and hit some lakes on the way down there too, if anyone has good recommendations, and it is on the way, you are more then welcome to join me, I will be leaving here on june 15th, fishing my district 2 day championship on clarks hill, then am heading that way, so i think i might stop at either, west point or Eaufula.

WestPoint and Eufaula are great lakes to fish..........I just fished Eufaula two weeks ago.
at eufaula just stay in the channel markers.........

    Re: Mobile Al (Gafishin)

I just fished Eufaula this past week and the fishing was pretty good, for someone who had never fished it before. I live in Mobile and took the family to Lake Eufaula for my daughter's Spring Break. Fishing the rivers and creeks around here, I was not use to the channel markers at Eufaula so I fished within sight of the Lakepoint Resort State Park. I'm about to put up a report on the fishing I done there.

I'm not for sure how much time I'll have to fish this summer because of work (there are only 2 of us left working here) and our 2nd child is due around the middle of July, but I'd be more than willing to show you around some of the areas in the Delta. I don't know many areas too well (I just started bass fishing seriously around here this year), but I'm sure we can put our heads together and figure out the map that I have. There are plenty of places to fish here in the Delta and some pretty good places at that.

Shoot me an email when you get down here and we'll try to hook up.

    Re: Mobile Al (hammerhead)

Hammerhead thanks, i will try and hook up with you, once i am down there. I have a friend that used to be stationed there and he is there this week, so he picked me up a chart, and is going to transfer all his "spots" on his map over to the one hick picked up for me. Again a good run of the river is more what i am looking for, finding good spots is a whole nother story, but we'll figure out something.

    Thanks
