Herro all!!!
I'm knew to the site!!
I've read alot of good things here and i hope someone can help me with my conundrum.
So, I got me some flex coat and some u-40 rod bond, and after using it I tightly close the lids and put them in my "rod building" tool box. After some time i found that the black bottle in my flex coat is start to go through some kind of reaction, and the hardener turned like this milky white color and became thick and almost chunky like.
the same thing happened with my u-40 rod bond, the clear part turned milky in color and hard and chunky.
to top this anomaly, in the flex coat, its the hardener that's changing, and in the rod bond, it's the resin that's changing.
I've tried mixing the rod bond and it still reacts normally and becomes hard. but the flex coat, it looks like a lost cause considering that, it's not going to be that smooth free flowing liquid.
anyways, can anybody enlighten me as to what is going on?![]()
