Kamo grips - anybody built a rod with these grips?

What do you guys think about these grips? Alex (ALX rods) is building me a rod using a St. Croix Avid blank. How do you guys think a set of kamo split grips( cut to make split grips) in the "artic" color kamo will look on the avid blank? I also like the "deep water" color too. I really liked the look of these grips the first time I saw them. Anybody ever used these grips yet? I would like to see photos if you have.

Wonder how that (split) would look on one of the camo MHX blanks?
