lower unit leak?

I have a 200 H.O. 2007 that "weeps" fluid out of the little hole where your transom saver would rest. Anyone else have this problem? It's not a lot but enough to make me wonder.

I would have it checked.

More than likely it's coming from the driveshaft seal right under the water pump. These were sometimes the 1 piece seal, and they were notorious for coming out of their bore. Check for water in the case A.S.A.P. and if water is present, do a pressure & vacuum test.

Thanks for the responses. The motor was a brand new leftover, and I've never seen this happen on my last motor, and that was a '95 Merc
