Trying to find a good wire to use to make wire weedguards on jigs. I'm currently using the fiber guards and like them but also would like to get away from all the bulk. Does anyone know where I can get any wire weedguards, such as the ones used in Stan Sloan jig heads?

I use to use the 100lb wire you get in the saltwater dept. of Bass Pro. Personally I like the fiber guards so I quit using the wire.

I use the fiber guards now but feel like they are too bulky. I've alsways had better luck, it seems, with wire guards. I just ordered some 60 & 90# leader wire. I'll give it a try. Maybe it's just a coincidence but I figured I would try it. Thanks for the replies.
