What do you guys use to vent lead fumes when it's too cold to open the garage door? I was thinking of building a hood with a bathroom exhaust fan and running the hose out a cracked window. Would this work or would I need something better?

I use a hood range vent and light. Works great. I put plywood around 3 sides at the height I want it to sit off the table. I used 6 or 8 in heating ductwork on the top of the unit and flex hose to a window. I have a piece of plywood cut just smaller than the window opening and used plumbing pipe wrap foam insulation around the perimiter. Cut the hole in the plywood to fit another heating vent to connect the flex hose to it.

Thanks for the reply Mike. Thats kind of what I was thinking of doing for the hood and the duct.
Get the most cfm's you can afford. Having light underneath is awesome. The newer ones are great, Just cost more.I ran a plug to a electric box under/inside the booth and wired the fan to the box. This allows me to power the hood and have two plugs for the pot, dremmel, etc right there.

Just make sure you use a heavy gauge wire to feed the plug.I used an old heavy duty extension cord with a bad end.
