That motor will run you $80.00 to 130.00 on Ebay! If you have a good auto-electric shop available they can repair it, the cost should be in the same range. That is if you have the skills necessary to remove the old one.

Will the motor have to be removed ? I have a 6 in Jackplate on it now.
Go to the John/Rude tips at the top of the forum page and it has directions on how to remove the trim motor. You do not have to remove the big motor.
