What is the Quietest/Smoothest Braided Line

Like the topic says I am wondering what is the quietest and smoothest braided line? Right now I am using 50lb Powerpro and I find it to be rather rough and loud coming through the guides. As the line "breaks in" it seems to get better, but I was wondering if there are any braided lines that are quieter then powerpro? Thanks folks

Try some Hi-Seas Grand Slam braid and you will use that Power Pro to string beans in your garden. I used to use nothing but Power Pro, and it is awesome stuff, so this should tell you how I feel about the Hi Seas braid. I love to swim jigs in the grass and it came through time and time again with flying colors.

I'm a big power pro user but if you want a smooth braid the Toray Biwa is the deal. It is not cheap though.

    Re: (Centipede)

Depends how much you wanna spend.

Easier on the wallet - Spiderwire Stealth
moderate on wallet - Ultracast Spiderwire
OUCH on the wallet - Toray Biwa (as mentioned above)

If you look through old posts I have had this issue with power pro for a long time and can not understand why people use it and it has such a following....

Once a person starts using recoil guides they very quickly learn the "abrasion" sound of most braids on your guides....drives me crazy and I love braid so I eventually found the 3 above to be the best.
Where are the BIG ones? When are we going?
