brass bullet weights with rattle?

I have just started using brass bullet weights on my texas rigs that have a built in brass rattle...( mostly in water with some color to it ). I have caught some decent fish with this set up when my buddy was fishing a similar bait with no rattle and less fish... Other than just being able to find the bait, do you think that this "lesser used, audible" presentation of a tx rig may help put more fish in the boat? It's probably a sometimes it will, sometimes it won't thing, but I am curious what you guys think...Definitely going to use it for night fishing this spring!

i don't use the brass with rattles, but i do use the brass with a glass bead. i always use red glass. been fishing it that way for 20 yrs. i think the rattle is a good idea, i need to look at some of those. like anything in fishing, what works one day, may not work the next! i get my glass beads at the craft stores. way cheaper.

Gambler Brass Pro Rat'lin Weight is the ones I've been using...sizes from 1/16 to 1 oz. Bass Pro has them, but they have been hard for me to find locally...
