E200FPLEEN
Ok, I know I've posted this before but I am looking for a few more suggestions. My 94 Champion project, in the restore forum, came as a package deal with a 1999 200 Ficht. I am not going to put the Ficht on the Champ, I like the motor that is on there and when I am done it will be a nice boat. So that leaves me with a Ficht with a broken piston and damaged head. I am doing the work on the older motor myself and so far it is not that hard. Just getting motivated to do it myself was hard. The work I am doing is just replacing the reeds and rebuilding carbs, and putting a seal kit on the lower (thanks Elgin for the advice). The story with the Ficht is that it sucked a reed into the cylinder and toasted a piston. I know most of the problems were with the 150/175 motors. I would like to do the Ficht myself because I want to learn. Is it woth it? And, what am I going to do with it if I do get it running?
