Well, I went out this morning on the Potomac around 9 o'clock this morning. I ran out to a spot that has alot of grass and is around 2 1/2 -4 feet. I started out throwing a green pumpkin senko and noticed the bass were hitting top water. So, I switched over to a popper. Well, I threw it for a while and no luck. So, I went back to my fav the Senko. I ended up landing 4 nice little 2 1/2 -3 lbs in about an hour. I then moved around a couple of spots and nothing. I decided to start heading back to the dock. There is a channel next to base that I launched at. I started fishing this little shady spot with lots of overhang. I figured with it being in the 90's and water temp at 80.2 they will be in the shade. Well, about the 4th cast I got another little dink about the same as the others. I threw in there 2 more times and landed this one. I seen the silouette of her and about crapped. I got my net out and landed her just as the hook popped right out of her mouth. She weighed in at 5.1 lbs on my digital scale. I didn't get to measure it cause I had her out a little to long already. So, after a little showing off to all the bank fisherman I released her. Well, here is the pic. I took it with my Blackberry.
