    Newbie at Fishing Creek

Alright, so I'm gonna go to Fishing Creek for the first time. Never been there so don't know much. Heard that there is a lot of rocks that will damage your prop/boat. Also heard that a lot of trucks get broken into there. Is any of this stuff true? Is there better places to fish than others. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    Love me some Powell\'s!!!

Re: Newbie at Fishing Creek (skeet210)

There are two nice ramps on the lake. The hwy 21 ramp is the one I always use. Both ramps are remote so I guess breakins could happen although I have used it frequently with out issue. Its a small lake at the bottom which quickly turns to river the further up you go. Lots of wood and stumps etc. Can't seem to ever catch anything on there deeper than 3 feet.
I don't always find schooling fish but when I do I backlash on the first cast
