congrad's to lake james TBF qualifiers

To all that endured the rain and cold, Congrad's.
Its been like this each time the Western region has scheduled March qualifing tournaments at James & Lake Hickory. I mean no disrespect to winners or the hard working orginizers of this tournament.These tournaments never are a test of skills but usually turn into a pot luck tournament and not much fun for those of us that use it as a fishing vacation.
So I urge all clubs to consider voting for change of the Lake James & Hickory Qualifier dates to ether April or May. The other regions do this.
Just put it to a vote at your next meeting and then sumit it in writing to the Western region board .I've been told If the majority of the clubs want it it would be changed.

Congrat's to all the State Qualifiers. I know what your saying Frank, but the one variable that none of us have control over is Mother Nature, you can wind up with bad weather in April or May either one also. The weekend before the tournament was a total different picture. I know it was rainy and miserable, rained so much on day one that when I went to get in boat for day two my control panel had gotten mositure in it and would not operate. So I spent day two working the ramp with all the other workers. Note: after pulling boat out in the sun and wind yesterday to dry the control panel is now operating again.

Don't know whow they are. Do know 2nd place was Joel Gatewood his in my club and did a fine job shakie heading them up in tough conditions...the club is proud of him. Fine job Joel!
I would think a list will be posted on TBF Westeren Region Site soon.
