Well I'm getting to fishing with newt tomorrow! Does anyone have any words of wisdom? I don't want him throwing me out of the boat and leaving me the first day (especially if it's my boat).

I will try and help you. Like kitty Cat said for some unknown reason he is crazy about that guy named obama. He may talk politics but I would not bring it up. Cause I think I know what you think about our Pres. ,but in Newt's eyes he does no wrong. I hope
He is real neat and organized, kind of OCD. But he can fish if you can put up with his neatness.

but do NOT let him park the truck! he doesnt mind u borrowing or using anything he has in the boat, just be sure u put it right back where u got it! and dont talk about HIS PRES! and duck if he is hung up!

Well I followed everyones advice and really said great things about Usama, I mean Obama. Oldnewtered got really upset but I might have it figured it out. I learned that Oldnewtered has to watch his blood sugar. I think maybe he got hypoglowcemic or hypoglycemic or something. He calmed down after I said I was for the Keystone pipline then he took his hands off my throat. Other than that we had a great time.

I have been his partner in the "past". Words of advice: 1. Tie a rope around him and have 911 on speed dial while he is fishing, he has a tendency to pass out (chicot) 2. Do not let him back your boat in. He cannot see vehicles behind him such as red trucks. (ferguson) 3. If your boat seats are in good shape go ahead and order some new ones they want be when you get back 4. Make sure you have some ear plugs. when the conversation about politics comes up put em in. 5. Do not bring up wifes. I think there is a problem there. 6. If you are fishing crank baits and he is in the back make sure your trolling motor works good going backward. 7. If he has to go to the bathroom don"t worry about trying to get to a bank you want have enough time 8. If for some reason you run out of fishing poles

Well I had made some observations in the two trips I was privilidged to go with Mr. Ford. (He makes me call him that since he caught more than me yesterday at Eagle). I wish I had looked at number 5 first - I have only been married 27 years and him 47 so I asked his advice on how to keep a marriage romantic, exciting, and that honeymoon feeling. After he put the brown paper bag down he used for hyper-ventilating, he took some more pills and then gave me a look which reminded me of the crazy Islamic Fundementalist conducting Jihad all over the world. In fact, he's screaming out of control response sounded Arabic. I thought about abandoning ship but I couldn't get the key (thinking he would run over me). He was just about to spring into the flying squirrel wrestling move when he said, "wait a minute - I got to take a crap." He was dropping trousers when he said, "I got to ..." and he was finished when he said, "take a crap". He then forgot why he was chasing me around the boat. Pls don't remind him if you talk with him.
