    Power trim bouncing.

Can anyone tell me if having the moter bounce when lowering the motor is normal? I have always had this issue, but never crossed my mind untill I seen another post on the trim.

My 03 DI will bounce from time to time. If it's a constant thing try these. first lower the motor down onto a 2X4 or a block of wood, release the manual bypass on the left side of the motor bracket with a 5/16 or 3/8 screwdriver. A pretty good sized flat screwdriver, no more than a couple three turns. Trim motor up and down about 10-15 secs each way 3-4 times to help bleed the lines. Close the manual release and try her then. You can also burp it like ChampMan calls it.... Raise the motor all the way up, then on the right side of the trim bracket, is the fill cap. Same slotted screwdriver, just loosen the cap enough to release or burp the system. Hope this helps.

My 04 DI does the exact same thing. I was wondering if I should get it looked at but I will try this first.
