My thought's about it also.

We almost got through a tournament with no drama. 1 DQ and 4 no wake zone infractions. About on average these days.

Club tournaments are worse.

It sounds like Matt was not soliciting the information and it was just a mistake but a failed polygraph requires some action.

Yup, made a comment a couple pages back. Milliken did the same thing on his practice video. Guy in his backyard started to talk about a “hole” and he stopped him immediately.

This is a long shot, but possible. Matt might have said to another competitor, “my son said a tournament a few weeks back was won at blah blah”. We all know that several of the anglers will report you instantly, due to clauses.

I would believe after last year they are doing 5 randoms to kill the issue. Not hard to believe at all.

Well.... Very hypothetical here but also very possible these days. 2 guys rooming, one guy gets info, which is against the rules, and shares it with his roommate which is now legal info. They split all winnings.
Now, i do not think that is the case here at all. Bill and Matt are stand up guys but with the way things are handled these days it would pay off to do it.

The no info rule is just stupid and causes this type of stuff to happen. Matt got screwed here. Management at BASS is a train wreck right now.
