Do you have a screen shot? Not visualizing what you are talking about
I think i got it straightened out. Only thing i can figure is that the side imaging transducer on my other unit was interfering with the 2d on the helix. ( mounted on opposite sides of transom). Tried again yesterday with si unit off and had no problems in water deeper than 2 feet. Had some problems shallow as it showed deep holes where theyre werent any but thats not a huge deal. Other than that the auto chart live is a very cool feature. Im afraid its gonna cut into my fishing time a little bit for a while. Lol
Has anyone tested this to see if it works? I have a thread here: http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=692948 Asking about this. I have used my entire 8 hrs on one of my Helix 9 units(I have 2). I bought 2 ZLC so that I could get that data on both cards. Humminbird says not possible. I want to try this, but not take a chance at ruining my entire map....

Pretty good so far. A customer that I installed for last week had a strange chart glitch but we haven't been able to recreate it. We've decided it may have been a corrupt waypoint.
It's much faster than previous versions of the software and the Chirp makes a difference in the 2d for the better. No I still wouldn't pay $$$$ for a transducer or make that my overriding decision in buying a unit but the 2d is nice and clean so I'm running it.
My biggest issue so far are the things still missing from the software. We didn't get the palettes, waypoint management still looks basically nonexistent and no option to adjust screen size. These things, to me should be basic features since they are in both core and Helix models.
Like others that run them I would have a tough time going back.
James have you noticed any issues with fuzzy SI that a couple people have talked about?
Autocharts pro comes with the zero lines card right? Or do I need to purchase the separate zero lines card?
Also would like to know the following... Onix shares maps across the network (fact), does the Onix network share info on 1 ZLC across the network?
I would be ok with autochart live if I can put an sd card in the other slot with a zero line card in the first slot. That way can record logs on the sd and buy autochart or pro later if anything would happen to my zero line card. Is that possible?
Called humminbird and they said that you cannot have an sd card in the second slot and record to both the zero line in slot one and an sd card in slot two.
You are probably just going to have to try it ....... You may have to map with Autochart Live to internal memory and move it to the ZLC later. I have seen it posted that someone recorded the sonar data at the same time as using Autochart Live....but maybe they were going internal with the Autochart Live.
So, I have a question for you guys and I don't think it has been asked. I tried to read this whole thread from start to finish in hopes of finding a answer. I just purchased a new laptop. My old one had a DVD/ cd rom. My new one does not. I've had Auto chart pro since it's release. Is there anyway to transfer the program from lap top to lap top or do I need to guy buy a external rom to plug in and load the cd on to the new one. Also I'm trying to remember if there was an activation code or something on the packaging the program came in. I don't think I have that packaging. I did find my auto chart cd though. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kenny
