Re: Spun Hub, I think (rudetech1)
They come off a lot easier if you put a little grease on the splines and take the prop off periodically to check for fishing line.
Re: Spun Hub, I think (ProcraftMike)
I have learned that through this incident. It will be done on an annual basis hence forth.

The BRP triple gard grease is cheap enough and you can get it at your dealer!
Re: Spun Hub, I think (Bassmeister)
Thanks for the heads up on the grease. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif I think I am going to purchase a spare aluminum prop as well.

Do I have to come down there and straighten you out and get that Hewes smoking?? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif .
Re: Grease more than anually.
You should remove and clean/regrease the propshaft splines more often than anually in your water.
Are you still dealing with the "yellow boats" down there?
Re: Spun Hub, I think (ChampioNman)
Sure,
Did some "catch and release" on some nice slot reds in Matlacha Pass yesterday and a couple of nice Jacks. Fishing cut pinfish in the bushes.

Let me check the calendar for Nov. I can wangle some time off then and MIL would be Happy. I'll bring some props.
Re: Spun Hub, I think (ChampioNman)
OK, let me know a few weeks in advnce. I will arrange to be in PG.
The redfisher runs pretty good with the Rapture. Hole shot is around 3 seconds, trimmed at WOT, do about 44 mph. Not bad with a 90hp.
