Got motor back from shop

Got the Johnson back from the shop today. Had the waterpump changed, had a complete tuneup, they replaced all the filters, gaskets, lube, and they ran it on the dyno before and after. Before it was at 150hp at the propshaft, after with the heads shaved some it dynoed at 205hp!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif Woohoo, I can't wait to try it out, hoping to spin a 25 renegade upto 5600 - 5700, but its supposed to snow tomorrow. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif Don't know how you folks can stand too stare at a new boat all winter, it would drive me nuts. What do you all think, can I spin a 25 renegade upto 5600 on a Tr-186? Was turning 5100 max, would 55hp gemme 500rpms?

Not to start something but I find it hard to believe that shaving the heads a little would give you a 55 hp gain. If I am wrong then I apoligize.

It was already putting out around 170 if I remember right. It has bigger carbs and a couple other things I can't think of. Haven't got a change to run it yet, it turned freakin cold, but its killing me. Mechanic think I should at least touch 70 with it turning a 25 Gade upto 5600. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif Didn't mean to say that just shaving the heads netted 55hp, but it has been worked on a little at a time up until this time, this just put it upto 205.

Ohh, trust me I've been over the motor time after time. Dad won't let me take it out in that, but I would, and yea, I'm a fool. The mechanic said that on the dyno/testing machine, it could spin the 25 with an estimated drag equal to the boat upto 5600. Man, I'm getting worked up just thinking about it.
