The T13 is indeed a Torquemaster gearcase. Note the starboard side of the skeg... it has a "cast in torque tab" (hence the name "Torquemaster"). http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
There were some minor changes to the geometry of the gearcase, specifically the trailing edge of the skeg (it's camphered to reduce blowout).

No,it is not broken in. It has 2hrs on it.

I'd wait until you've got about 10 hours on that case before you make a "judgement call".
Incidentally.... you should be following the same "break-in" methods as described in your owner's manual (with the exception of the "trim down" which isn't necessary for a gearcase alone).... long "High RPM runs" aren't recommended quite yet... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
