I really do hate it for him and the Seminoles....it's written in the metrics used and that game we witnessed last night did not leave a good impression on the committee....if he hadn't gotten hurt there would've never been a discussion....

It’s a BS excuse by the committee. When Ohio State won it a few years ago, there on their 3rd string QB as well. It’s about the $$$ and nothing more.
Yeah the difference is Ohio looked great with their backup QBs and FSU did not.
This QB wounldn't see the field anyway for the bowl game. Their 2nd string QB would have played, and he's done ok. I heard no mention of that point though.
A 1 loss SEC champion is better than a no loss ACC champion. This is the best case scenario for FS. They can whine they didn't get in and not get embarrassed on the field. I don't have a dog in the fight either.
Unfortunately, the last impression is the one that stands out most...
“I think in looking at it, again, that was a decision with Alabama at 4. Florida State is a different team than they were through the first 11 weeks,” Corrigan said. " ... You can lose a running back, you can lose a receiver but when you lose a quarterback as dynamic as Jordan Travis, it changes their offense in its entirety and that was a really big factor.”
