How did y'all tourneys go this last weekend? Thoughts?

Aaron, how did aba go? Anyone else? I decided to stay close and fish the River Team Trail (alone). I weighed a limit of smallies, but nothing of size, 8+. I lost a 4lber as it jumped by the boat and that may have atleast given me lunker... woulda, shoulda, coulda. Winning weight was 16+, lm and sm. I had throttle problems and didn't go north like i planned. I did catch a 12lb+ catfish on 8lb test. I thought I had a new world record... for a couple beautiful minutes. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif Second place guy weighed 5 carbon copy smallies, each 3lb+. That is tough but atleast you had one decent fish. That's one reason I didn't go- I know absolutely zero about Onata. btw, the next river tourney is June 4 at Bartons Cove and then June 18 at Hinsdale, NH- your neck of the woods. There are also 3 more at Hinsdale after that. Let me know if you want to team up for some of those. Dave

Fished a Tournie on Highland lake in Winchester Ct. Tough day Saturday AM as a wicked t storm rolled through on Friday evening. Winning weight was 4.5 lbs and that was the lunker also. I got 3rd with 2.44 lbs and they even gave me money. Pretty sad day of fishing but it's the first time I finished in the money this year so far so I'll take it.

Ya gotta take the $$ when its there!! whether you have 20lbs or 2lbs!!!

Obviously just catching the 2.44lbs was a feat in itself considering 4lbs won it! Must have been a combination of post spawn and weather= LOCKJAW!!!

My club had a tourney on Stafford Pond in RI and the winning weight was over 15lbs for 5 fish so it just goes to show you that there are times when one lake is on and another is not.......
