The reward probably isn't worth the effort. Might try an epoxy.

About your only shot is an epoxy designed specifically for plastic, then it would have to be carefully sanded and shaped. Still would be a crapshoot though, not much area for the epoxy to bond to.

I would try and reshape the bill at least once before turning it into a keychain.

Have you seen how it runs with the chipped bill?

My luck would be that the broke one is better than the wiggle warts I have cause I only have the one.

Looks like my luck too. Was fishing a Wart around docks and wearing them out during a tournament. Ended up bouncing it of a leg and cracked it.
    Oh well.

I would try the epoxy bilgerat suggested. May have to feather a thin layer over and under the bill to try to get a solid mass to adhere. This will more than likely change the properties somewhat . As a result it may be a better bait or may not be. It's worth a try for the fun of tinkering.

I had a Lucky Craft bait that I did the same thing to and I used my dremel to uniformly remove bill material so that it was symmetric all the way around. It's similar to a squarebill but not exactly. It has slightly rounded corners. It catches fish. If you end up going this route proceed carefully. It's easy to remove too much material and it's also easy to get out of proportion. I used a red sharpie to draw some boundary lines before grinding mine down so I didn't overdo it and screw the whole thing up.

You fishing Bull any time soon? I fish in a small St. Louis club that has a tx next weekend. Can't make the rally.

No idea how to fix it other than the mold epoxy trick. Good luck.

Tape off the leading surface of the bill and the bottom. Fill with plastic epoxy as mentioned by previous poster. I would clean it prior but don't sand it down. You want that uneven max surface area to bond to. Once it dries, sand and shape the bottom leading edge and you should be good to go with touch up paint. I have done this on a damaged Megabass and it worked. The under-side edge looked like crap but the bait performed.

How about some clay? Clean area with alcohol. Let dry. Flatten 2 sheets of modeling clay. One for top. Other bottom. Fill void with epoxy. Turn bill up to dry. Remove clay. File to shape.
