Anyone heard of or used them? I've been doing some research for a new Manual 6 inch Jackplate and I keep finding these as the best deal going price-wise.
Like to get some feed-back from anyone that has had or still has one.
Able to get Power-Pole mounts for on them? Quality of the unit? Anything else?

Yes, i had a 6" manual plate on my skeeter for about 6 yrs or so. Bought it direct from Vance with a great price.....was cheaper than the name brand plates that do the same thing. Never had an issue with it. I sold my boat this past Janurary with it on there. If was looking for a manual plate again, i would not hesitate to buy another one.
As far as PP mounts, i cant answer that as i didnt have any on my boat. But you can ask Rich @ Hydrilla Gear as he's a dealer and board sponsor and can help out with that part.

Had two of them . I think they are good plates.
I had a 6 inch Vance on my speed boat and it worked for me. Once you get it set I never touched it again
Have a 10" on my xpress for 3 years .. good plate, no problems
great plate.. run there new 6" one with the holeshot plate cant beat there plate for the money!!
I'm on my second one with no issues. I don't know if they will accept PP brackets or not,mine are mounted with sandwich brackets.

I have had one for 2 years...works great!!.....I didnt use sandwich brackets for my PP's.....Mine mount to the locking bolts on the side of the jack plate....The brackets I have are PKD-S-2-6-BLK Bracket kit
My son has a 6" on his Nitro NX750 with a 135. When that motor blew, he replaced it with a 115 ProXS and reused the JP. When Don Weed installed the motor, he mentioned the mounting hole had become oblong. He said it was good with a 115 but thought it would be replaced if it was on a V6. The adjustments are up are pretty easy but lowering the motor, the two plates want tend to bind. It is a good plate for the cost but IMO, Slidemasters are tons better.

Have a newer 6" with holeshot plate on my boat. Excellent plate for the money. Keep the channels greased and it moves up and down no problem. Though, once ya set it you don't move it around very often.
Ive got a 4" on my aluminum triton, no problems!!
Thanks for all the comments! They look pretty good to me from the pics I've seen. Not much to ANY manual Jackplate, just two Aluminum Angles milled with 3 sets of slots and 2 cross pieces welded in and a piece of SS All Thread Rod.
If I still worked at the Metal Fab Shop I'd just have one made.
