Good lift until I add a co angler

2019 721, 4 lead acid batteries, power poles. Currently running a 24P Temp+ that has been balanced by Mark C. and getting 76 @6080 rpm by myself, live wells empty. I'm 150# and if I add a co angler of 250# I lose most of my lift and 3 mph. Was thinking about sending the 24P Temp+ back to Mark and have some cup added.....
    Thoughts?

Also about to add a second 12" graph to the bow

I would grab a used 23" pitch tempest and have it worked by Mark Croxton. It would be a good prop to use when loaded and in warmer weather.

I do have a 23p 3B Fury that has been BB by Mark but it has the same lift struggles when weight is added

Lower your jackplate 1/4"-1/2", you should get your lift back.
I've got the same boat/motor,me and Co is 250lb each, I get 74.5mph loaded with a 25 tempest, with plenty of lift

Thanks no wake….. I have tried that but may have to give it another try. With what you’ve said, boat balance may be part of it… I may try filling the starboard live well to try and even it out some

A Fury is not a Tempest. You get more lift with a Tempest, Fury props run stiff on pitch as well.

Agreed… the tempest has longer blades and that’s why I went to the tempest after the fury wouldn’t lift.
Thanks all for the suggestions and keep them coming if you’ve had this experience and figured out a solution

I bet you have a 2 stroke as well. They can turn a bigger prop and generally run a few MPH better on the top end.
