    2011 250 pro xs fuse

    what do the three 20amp fuse on the side of the motor feed? I'm blowing what i think is the one labeled number 4?

    Don't know exactly which 1 it is but a 20 amp fuse blowing means a bad coil. Your year motor i believe has the bad coils. Mine is a 2012 and I have replaced 5 in the last 2-3 years.

    Make sure you post you serial # and some one thats knows alot more than I will be along.

    There are more than one circuit that use a 20 amp fuse, and they don't all feed the coils.

    Mercury doesn't use "years"... so until we have the serial number, we won't know if the production date falls within a questionable range.

    Biggs- see if you can identify the wire colors that correspond to the fuse that is blowing... that combined with the Serial Number will help.
