My question about Mercer is this. What does he keep going behind the middle partition for? Seems like half of his interview is while he is the back.

i want to go to your work and watch you. Then i am going to come on the BBC and talk trash about you. I get it, some dont like him. You are entitled to your opinion but, I think we need to get back to the "if you dont have something nice to say, dont say it". I am guilty of doing this to. Guys, lets be honest, bass fishing is not an exciting sport to watch on TV. He is doing his best to make it that way.

Mercer beats the hell out of old "WOW, A 5 BASS LIMIT" guy, I didn't even watch the FLW weigh in because of him and running simultaneously with BASS.
mercer has grown on me especially since i noticed hes an ole Wrastlin junkie, ive noticed some drops that are wrestling related and some things he does, the water bottle deal (HHH) and "Lets get ready to weigh some bass" would be his most famous "borrowed". Must have enjoyed some NBA JAM back in the day too "BOOM SHAKALAKA!" yea its border line ripping it off, but i chalked it up to "homage" and realized dude is just having a good time, and using things hes loved over the years and incorporating them into fishing.

To me Mercer does a good job. Weigh-ins could be one of the most boringthings to watch. I don’t image it iseasy to consistently make it interesting and entertaining.
I don't think it would hurt anyone's feeling's if he came up with some new jokes and one liners.

You guys should get onto his Facebook or Twitter feeds and make some suggestions on what to say next. He's on stage and milliseconds to come up with phrases that will catch the crowd. I love how many of you think he should have new jokes...then write some for him and help the guy out instead of bashing him.
I would give my left nut, to get an opportunity like his. To be on a stage in the that magnitude and be around some of the best in the industry would have me stuttering like a moron. Then I hope I would find my groove.
