This is the only one for me right now. I am considering a few but the club here in Champaign (CU Bass Club) is pretty competitive with a lot of tourney dates that I just cannot make. I may join one when I get to day shift (hopefully next sign up as I have seniority on nights)

I started Macon County Liners Bass Club in 1991. A few years ago the Illinois bass Federation split it's membership up between BASS and FLW. You can go to ilbassfed.com and find an IBF affiliated club near you..If you need help finding a club near you, IM me and I'll find some contacts for you

In Dupo, IL we have the Central Illinois Bass Anglers which has a few good members. Also has a lot of excellent anglers. They are always looking for new members. There is also the Tri-County Bass Anglers based in Fairview Heights. I am a member of the Central Illinois club and will be joining the Tri-County after the first of the year. I'll fish a few from both clubs...

For those of you that live in the Champaign area there are a couple of options. Champaign/Urbana Bass Club and then the Champaign County Bassmasters. Both clubs are top notch with good people in both.
I personally belong to the Champaign County Bassmasters as they have a more relaxed approach to their monthly tournament's. They tend to fish closer to home with one day tournament's each month from April until October.

I am going to have to check out the Champaign County Bassmasters. I heard they are more relaxed than the CU Bass Club. The CU Club holds a ton of tourneys which I could never make. Where are the meetings at Don and when are they?

A lot of the small towns have clubs. New Athens, O'Fallon, etc. The midwest 24/7 site list several. The marina in New Athens has a evening tournament on the Kaskaskia once a week.
I lived in Smithton for several years, Are you moving to one of the new subdivisions ?

The meetings are the first monday of the month and held at the VFW over by home depot. Meetings start at 7:00 and last about an hour, however, there will be no meeting for December. You can give me a call anytime 251 5899 we'll get you hooked up.

My son and I have mainly fished local tournaments, but we may join a club next Spring.

Been fishing with Champaign-Urbana since 2003. We fish about 15 tourney days a year plus a classic. each weekend day is a different event, so its really only 7 or 8 weekends. there is also a family event each august with catch what u can tourney with anyone you like, and a nice picnic.
Hi Mark, used to fish with Jeff Lindsy, and Gregg Stewart all the time. Gregg lives three houses down the street from me.

Well, I got my start at U of I with the Fighting Illini Bass Club....fortunately the Champaign County Bassmasters had room for some college kids and took us in so we could fish tournaments. I stayed a member of the CCBM for a couple of years and when I got home from College I joined the Happy Hookers Bass Club with my dad. He had been a member when I was real little, it's a great club, we have a ton of fun and fish A LOT.
I fish out of Thunderbird Bass Club, we are located in Henry/Putnam area... we have guys from Peru, LaSalle, Princeton, Keewanee and all around those areas.
