thats my personal best from North Dakota. measured 24 1/2 and 18 girth. The weight varied from the few scales I used.......... somwhere between 6.5 and 8 after it was in the live well for about 13 hours.

Those are nice fish from Long Lake, I fished it a few times about 8-years ago, looks like I need to re-visit it.
Do you know if there is a public launch area on Long Lake? I live in the area.

Hey david, those are some nice ens. to answer your question, Long Lake doesnt have a public launch site, I know some one that lives on the lake and get access from them. I have a little 2 man boat that I slde in there. Its a fun lake to fish.

Thanks, Never thought the salmon bug would bite me as bad as it did. I've taken 56 of them this past season, totaling 352lbs of salmon. Smoked a bunch, eat salmon once - twice a week, given plenty to friends and family and still have enough to last the winter.
