    Live well draining starting battery

    I have a 2006 Tr-196. When I run my live well in Timed mode my battery is going dead by the end of the tournament. I am running a Hummingbird 898 and a 999. I just bought all new optimas last year.

    Your battery is no good, if you start the day with a fully charged battery.

    What size battery is it a group 27 or a larger 29 or 31. Check all your connections and make sure they are clean and the battery is getting full charge. If that's OK then it's probably bad or too small.
