Do a search in this forum, the web and other sites related to Basscat tongue issues or a combination of wording. You should find several post about tongue welds breaking factory design is weak, weld wasnt hot enough to burn the metals together. weld.jpg Hinge has no reinforcement for the upper and lower wings and that is where the cracks occur. Check the welds, if cracked, have the repairs done like this by someone who knows how to weld to include that plate that i had installed between the wing hinges.
