Re: those glass boys better look out (xpress_blake)

Well I guess we need to meet up because I need to see this for myself.Like I said mine will run 78 and if you can pass me I'll sell mine the next day and get something else

Any time just let me know I live in Cartersville and I fish at least twice a week on Allatoona. Please don't take me as a smart ass I have just heard these kinds of claims for years about every boat known to man so all I'm asking for is a friendly race and if you can pass me I'll post here as a witness

Re: those glass boys better look out (xpress_blake)

I have a 22ft Bullet lead sled with a slow Yamaha 250 v-max.... Seems like most of the production boats are as fast as me now a days. Oh well.... I wish I was closer to meet up with you boys. I like to fish and play....

Have fun and keep us posted....

    Oops... Two Mikes

GAMike has a fiberglass boat 20-21 ft long and a slow Yamaha as well.

Hey Guys I want to know how this comes out. And if Mike looses, I would like the model number off that Yamaha. And I'm sure xpress would love to know what they did exceptionaly right with that hull.

Re: those glass boys better look out (xpress_blake)

Don't bring me into this, and I never said it was stock. With a stock 3.3L fitch I got to 75.7 and I felt there was more to be had but I didn't have much setup time on it. When I hit 80.3 with my 3.0L carb motor and there might of been a hand full of bolts that was stock on that motor but thats about it. I am guessing it was putting out 260+ hp. But Max hit 80.2 in his X-21 with a stock 250XS. You either have a happy motor or an exceptional boat or some of both. But your numbers are not typical. I'm not callin ya out or a fudger or anything, just want to get the facts straight.

I bet we could get the BBC GA bass club involved in this and I'm sure someone would be willing to video tape. They could do it after their june turney.

    X19 Speeds

I thought I would stir this up a little. I have been thinking of purchasing a X19 and hanging my 200 Looper on it.

Here is something I found I thought was interesting. Now let me say I don't believe speedo's, but this is interesting none the less.

    http://www.reynoldsracingmarine.com/x19.htm

Scroll down to the speedo speeds. This is an x19 with a 200 Mercury EFI.
