I have been reading about electric outboards. Can you get on plane with it and how good does it do for a 6 hour day of fishing.

New 2020 Pro Team 175 TXW - 60 HP 4 stroke Mercury. Just got it 2 weeks ago. Took it to Tower MN. and Lake Vermillion for break in and a fishing trip with 2 other buddies that had their boats. Fishing was C- in this heat wave but the boat performed wonderfully and without issue. So far some of the upgrades have been adding a Marine radio and antenna, Some Rod Keeper straps for the deck, upgraded the electronics to a Lowrance Hook 2-9 Triple Shot. IN the process of getting the Hook2-5 mounted on the bow. Loaded with gear and a full tank of gas, she hit 34.2 mph (GPS) with my wife and I on glass water. Very happy with the boat, especially the way it handle rougher water. No cavitations all week, decent hole shots and planes pretty quickly and then trims out nicely and rides nice. Livewell, bilge and all the other accessories worked well. Even the trolling motor that I thought might be under powered for a big lake/windy day performed well in some 15-18 mph winds. Adding the 2nd TM battery helped and I'll be upgrading to a stronger one down the road but not really required except in the worst conditions.

About the only thing I don't like about the boat is the rod tubes in the duel rod lockers are set at weird angles and since half of my poles are 7' and 7.5' they go in weird and all the handles/reels end up on the outside edge of the rod locker. I'll be looking at if any modifications can be made there or the tubes pulled out and just getting an open area to use in at least one of them.

This is my 2019 Tracker 195 TE that I posted earlier. This year 2021 Tracker came out with an optional tandem trailer for the 195 and I ordered one and sold the trailer that came with it. The tandem trailer sure handles better than the single axle trailer with less bounce. The trailer came with a bow step but I put the one from the other trailer on it. The trailer also has 4 wheel surge disk brakes.

What's going on guys. Been a short time lurker and just recently joined.

Here's some photos of my recently purchased 2020 Bass Tracker Classic XL. I got it in 100% stock form and was not happy with the bare minimum basics it had on it so my very first mods of choice were to upgrade the fuel tank to a 12 gallon unit and to swap my troller battery to a 12V Lithium for the Edge 45 it came with. I upgraded in short order to a 24V 80lb Terrova with spot lock and iPilot shortly after and threw in all new Garmin navs front and back with Panoptix and the GT54 transducer for the front. I was not happy with just having two seats so I threw in a third seat and gained some additional storage space along with it. Then I added additional rod holders at the rear deck that can hold an extra 8 rods.

I added a recessed foot pedal tray for the front troller pedal as well. Then I converted the 12v outlet to a dual USB 3.0 outlet for charging phones and anything else. Along with all this I converted my 50HP to a 60HP and added a stainless Vengeance propeller to it with a 6" setback hydraulic jack plate on the way. It's a competitive fishing machine for sure now and very capable of keeping up with it's larger big brothers in the speed department despite the extra weight it now has.

All these mods and I just have to put out there that YES the original cover still fits on it. Despite the naysaying that it wouldn't.

Ton of mods to the 2008 190tx. 90HP... 5 batterys , two three bank chargers, 2 trolling motors both 80 pound. Minn Kota cable front, Pilot electric on the rear. Control it from the front or remote. I do the same thing you guys do with the polls and spot lock just have more options in the wind and getting in and out of tight places. . I'm coastal fish right behind the ocean. Getting across a river changing sides with two 80 pound motors pulling you create a wake. LOL
4 graphs, Carbon for Active Target , FS on the dash with hook 3 in 1 on the trolling motor and dash as a second graph. double seat set up , up front. Took the middle seat out moved both seats towards the middle. Drivers seat 6 inchs so could get my buoys and VHF in there, low pro crappie rod holders on the other side. I haul 7 rods one behind the 6 rod set up. Manual Jack plate added, 4 blade Solas Titon 19P , Active Target built a battery monitor set up so could monitor all three sets of battery's . Coastal Carolina so get in some wind and waves built a back splash so the water would not come up in the boat when stopping.
Added a automatic hook up system love that and the quick connects on the rear. Dumped about 4 grand into the boat after buying it but its like we like it now and GF is the best fishing buddy. She likes her padded seat to. Brackish water and salt, right behind the ocean for reds, specks or trout , flounder to Bream cats to crappie. Fish the reeds is the reason for the lights. Its set up to do it all carry 12 rods, 7 crappie rods. Top speed is 40 mph at 5500 but hole shot is crazy with the weight forward. Love the 190 . Will upgrade to the 115xp some day but will keep the 2 stroke on it for now. LED inside lit the trailer up all new wiring and lights. Had fun fixing it up like I wanted it.
