    Cowboy boots?

Suggestions on a decent pair that won’t break the bank?

I have a pair of Justin work boots I think they were 130, non steel toe, rubber soul, water proof they were the most comfortable ones I tried on, and I tried a bunch up to 400$. But people are all different, ps best thing ever under rain gear. I did treat them with an entire can of waterproofing conditioner the day I bought them, just kept putting more on till the fan was empty with an hour in between coats

If you want a boot that'll feel like a pair of house shoes, get ya a pair of twisted x

Go to a legit boot store. Talk to someone there that knows what they are talking about. Try on a few pairs and see which you like that fits both your style, foot and budget. See how they feel and fit with footbeds in them also.

That said, I am partial to my Dan Posts.

After I break in a pair of Justin's, it's like wearing shoes. I have wide feet and after trying different brands, I keep going back to them.

Agreed. My Twisted X are the most comfortable pair I've ever worn.
I have a pair of the Frogskin .

I have two pair of older Nocona boots that have held up very good over the years.

What do you consider not breaking the bank? There is no rule of thumb in boots. Prices are all over and as wide as grand canyon top to bottom.

You need to go to a boot store and get fitted. Justin, Twisted X and Ariat are all good. Before this thread is dead every brand will be mentioned. I wear Justin with composite toe. Feel like sneakers after broke in. I wear them almost all the time. Ariats did't feel right. Will be totally different with your feet.

I got 5 pair. All different brands. Gators, to gator look alikes. Just keep in mind, with boots, my experience, you get what you pay for. So hopefully you get a good pair while not breaking the bank. But cheaper pairs normally don't last for me. My most comfortable are my TonyLama and DanPost. You do need to go to a place in person, and find a pair that fits you the way you want. Good luck.

I finally found great boots with the Double H brand. My buddies that live in Montana hooked me up with this brand. The square toe are the best. Fits and wear great first time on and they never wear out.

Used to wear a lot of boots, the ones that were most comfortable to me were Nocona's.
