At the Dr again with a rash

Really don’t have a clue what it is, on back side, under both arms, left hand, in mouth and starting to get a sore throat, plus may be in my left eye where I had surgery two years ago. Retired and falling apart The itching is unreal bad!!!

doesn't sound like shingles, they tend to be more location specific.

sounds like an contact allergy, have you tried Benadryl?

It sounds like an allergic reaction, to me.

Hope the Doc figures it out ASAP. It is no fun being retired and not able to do the things you love.

Do you take any meds. My son had a reaction to one of his, same symptoms. Another could be if you have changed laundry detergent or bath soap recently.

Ask for them to test for "Alpha Gal" when drawing for blood....it comes from a tick bite. I had the same issues (for years) until they ran this test and found out I have it. All better now...

Itching bothered me a lot with shingles. Pain in one part and itching in another.

Could be strep. It commonly comes with a rash.

Good thought. I don’t know why he’s wasting money on doctors when BBC could have him diagnosed in no time.

Shingles follows one nerve path so that is out. I imagine your immune system is down. Could be a bacterial or fungal thing.

My first thought is you are on chemo and sometimes things can happen with a depleted/reduced immune. Most likely an allergic reaction. Thankful you are at Dr.
