Bass boat? Do you plan on heating the air above your boat?

It's good for warming your hands/ feet up if cold enough.

I fish all winter and have used a buddy since they were brought out . I don't leave it run but fire it up to warm hands ,dry out gloves and stocking capsetc. I use just one single tank type I own a double but it was overkill. Went on my coldest ever 3 winters ago -13 degrees not counting windchill water was 49 degrees and foggy i did let it run thru a tank and a half that day. I made a crappy looking canvas cover for it when not lite to keep it from getting wet. I have used mine in a early early spring rain and it never went out. I can't imagine not having it.

I've used its little brother, the little buddy, and it works well on warming your hands, feet, and face. It doesn't take up much storage space, and is light years ahead of what we used to have, which was not much of anything. Not too bad on the wallet either, plus, it's kept me warm on some days in the woods.

The only downside is the stand, which does not stay seated as firm as I would like in the bottle. A little tape would fix it, just haven't done it yet.

The big buddy has a fan that runs off a D battery or a power adaptor. Itll heat your hands better in the wind

I have one similar to the picture above for golf cart. Sits in a cup holder, you can get 4 or 5 hours out of it.

I use em in my deer blind and they work very well. 1 pound tank will last about 5 hours. You can get a hose and adapter for a 20b tank.

I really can't tell you exactly how long the 1 lber lsts because I usually turn it on and off as needed . The day I went thru 1 1/2 it was left on probably 6-7 total just guessing. My big buddy is harder on gas but it is too big for my boat and I really don't mind very cold weather so its just to take the edge off and mainly dry gloves and caps. Buy one you won't regret it.

I have the little buddy and wish I got the one with a fan.
These things work great for cold weather camping in a tent.
