    Question Info... Falls/Jordan Lakes

Not looking for fishing info (if you want to offer it up... THANKS!). Have a small club that is looking to fish some new water and Falls/Jordan are being considered, so here's the questions:

What are the best times of the year to fish these lakes?

Best ramps w/safe boat friendly motels within a reasonable distance?

    Restaurants close to motel?

Boat friendly gas stations close to either ramp, or motel?

    Lake hazards?

Anything else you may think of???

    All info is appreciated. Thanks!

For Jordan there are places to stay in Apex but if you want to get away from the traffic stay in Sanford at the Econo lodge on Hwy 421 beside the Bay Breeze Seafood restaurant. Small club you can use Poes Boat ramp but it will cost you $5 a day, if you want to launch near the center of the lake you can use Ebeneezer, when the water comes back up not many hazards to worry about that isn't marked. Fishing is Great spring, fall and winter, it ok in the summer on a weekday, boat traffic is rough in the summer.

Its about 15 posts if you look back with all this info. Usually some one asking this about once a month. Alot of good info if you check.

Went back the last 100 days and if you had read the original post, you'd know the 2-3 posts on these lakes didn't answer the questions I asked. Thanks for playing though.

For close to hotels and food, putting in Jordan at Ebeneezer is probably the best bet. Hwy 64 leads to Apex where you'll find the stuff you need. I have no idea about how boat friendly any places are though. As far as best times, it's really just about like bass fishing anywhere else. Spring is good is probably the easiest time to find fish. April, May, June can all be good.

But Badfish is correct, I think these questions have all be answered multiple times here. Only you can decide what 'close' and 'reasonable distance' is. Google Maps is probably more help with that than we are. Not sure what you call a boat friendly gas station either. They are all pretty typical places that sell gas.

Yeah, that area is the best for running at low speed. Just barely on plane to about 30 or so. That's where all the big fish are most of the year as well.

Yeah Boy! That's some good advise where to go. That is if you got a Tunnel boat. Was up that way a year or so ago with a close friend in a T-boat. Went so far up the Eno River I definately saw the "E" in Eno. Caught some fish but was so amazed to have gone so far up the river Eno.
