jlb_2009 pointed out an error in the gas strut description on the PDF. The copy I have been sending out calls for the extended length of the gas strut to be 7 inches - That's wrong, it is 11 inches extended length with a 4 inch stroke. If you order the one shown in the screen shot, it will be correct but I had a fat finger in the text above it. I made the correction and all future copies will be correct.

Bill: Have you revised your original PDF to include the info on the Bunting Bearings and a correction on the length of the extended piston? I have copied this additional info into a separate document, but obviously can not modify your original PDF file.

I think I figured out a way to give you direct access to the Minn Kota Lift Assist PDF from inside the forum. I posted a copy to a shared folder on my amazon Drive.
Clicking on this link will take you to that folder and you can view, print and/or download the PDF. Hopefully this will be more convenient for you. If you have any trouble with the link, let me know and I will send you a copy by email.

I was one of the first guys that built this lift assist here on BBC. The hood support lifts can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer so build to fit the true length not necessarily a set figure. It is impossible to compress the lift shocks once they are extended unless you are Superman. I don't have the electronic management skills to transpose the steps and figures to make this kit, but it seems some of the dozen or so that Bill sent the plans to could put them here on-line in the BBC.

If you are referring to this bushing, I added it to the PDF. I think you received one of the early versions but you can access the latest by clicking on this link. You can view, download or print the PDF from here. https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/sh...YAt5c9rlVLAZsF

Sorry, I think I figured out your question . On this exploded diagram, it is item 46 but that could vary from one model to another. The description is "Bushing - Nylatron"

I inquired about the ability to attach a PDF inside a post and was told it was not possible so I created a shared folder on my Amazon Drive and posted a URL that takes you to the folder. This is the link: https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/sh...YAt5c9rlVLAZsF
